Welcoming you back to the office – safely
As a medical facility, we are deemed an essential service provider by the state of California. We are happy to announce that we will resume in-office care Monday, May 18th, with extensive safety protocols in place to protect all of our staff and patients.
Pre-screening measures: If you have a fever, cough, sore throat, muscle aches or any cold or flu symptoms, please reschedule your appointment.
Please expect such pre-screening questions from our staff on the phone. All patients and staff will have their temperature checked upon arrival.
Universal Masking: We are requiring all patients, visitors and staff to wear a face covering or mask to slow the spread of COVID19. Please bring your own face mask or covering to wear while at the office.
Limited number of people in the office: Please do not bring children or other guests with you to your appointment. We will limit the number of scheduled patients at any given time to ensure timely placement in the treatment room with minimum wait. In the event that this is not possible, we ask that you to wait in your car or outside. Please be on time to avoid over lap with other scheduled patients and be on the lookout for text messages from us alerting you to either wait in the car or to fine-tune your appointment time to ensure minimum interaction with others.
Hand washing: we expect you to wash your hands as soon as you come into the office and before you touch anything.
Air purification & ventilation: Large capacity air purification will be utilized for everyone’s protection. This will ensure low if any viral and bacterial load in the air at any one time in the office. We have also installed a fan to make that air is purged outside the office continuously as well as proving a continuous draft to facilitate efficient air exchange.
Staff cleaning: Enhanced and continuous cleaning of all surfaces and equipment after each patient as well as of high-traffic surfaces will be in place for your protection.
Virtual Visits: Tele-dentistry is here to stay, whether over Facetime or other video chat apps. This is a remarkable, easy and effective way to help our patients from the safety and convenience of their home. We will be using it where appropriate. We may, for example, examine and prescribe medications for multiple conditions over such virtual visits. It is also an excellent screening tool to help us and our patients decide if indeed it is necessary to come to the office.
We look forward to welcoming all our dear patients back as well as extending a helping hand to any new patients. We want to surpass any precautions in order to keep everyone as safe as possible. If you have any special concerns or needs please ask. We welcome your thoughts suggestions and feedback.
